Reptile Incubator 22ltr

Incubator:

22Ltr Polystyrene Box, 2x 2L plastic tubs, 1x 5ltr bag of Pro-Hatch vermiculite, Digital Thermostat (W3001) for controlling temperature, heat pad, wiring and plug.

This incubator is ready to use – just add water and eggs.

Size: Large (46cm x 28cm x 30cm)

Instructions:
Mix vermiculite and warm water at a ratio of 2:1
Add to plastic tub – fill half of tub
Place eggs in tub – cover them 1/2 to 3/4 with vermiculite
Set thermostat to correct temperature e.g 28 degrees Celcius
Place lid on egg tub (if you want to add extra tubs in the incubator)
You can use the second tub for eggs, or use it as a water tub without the lid if humidity is low. Add water to this second container and place on top of egg tub
Make sure heating pad is plugged in
Do not turn or disturb eggs
If you are not maintaining the correct temperature (eg too high), you can drill holes in the sides of the egg tubs.
Amount of eggs per tub: small to medium eggs, 20 + eggs per tub
Space for two egg tubs ( 2 x 20 eggs = 40 eggs)
