API Accu-Clear Aquarium (118ml)
API® ACCU-CLEAR water clarifier quickly clarifies cloudy water in your aquarium. It eliminates haze to make your water crystal clear.
This product works by clumping tiny floating particles together. Your aquarium filter is able to remove these larger particles more easily. Product is safe for use with all freshwater fish and plants.
Once you have dosed the water, it will clear within a few hours. If cloudiness persists, you can give another dose after twenty-four hours. You can administer doses as part of your routine maintenance.
API ACCU-CLEAR Water Clarifier also improves the overall efficiency of your aquarium filter.
Instructions:
Add 1 ml. per 38 litres of aquarium water. Water will clear within several hours. If second dose is necessary, wait 24 hours.
FAQs:
What does this water clarifier do?
API ACCU-CLEAR water clarifier clears green or cloudy water in freshwater aquariums by clumping small particles together into larger pieces. This means that they can settle to the bottom of your aquarium to be siphoned out, or easily removed by the filter.
Is API ACCU-CLEAR™ water clarifier safe with fish and plants?
Yes, it is a safe product for both fish and plants.
Why can’t the Aquarium water clarifier be used in marine aquariums?
The clarifier is unable to clear cloudiness in water with a high mineral content (such as saltwater). It could even make it worse but even so, it will not cause any harm to fish or marine plants.
Can the Aquarium water clarifier be used if I have added some salt to the water in my freshwater aquarium as part of a supportive treatment for fish?
Yes, a low level of salt in the water, as is typically the case with freshwater aquariums, is not a problem with API ACCU-CLEAR water clarifier. However, API ACCU-CLEAR water clarifier does not act as a healing treatment for fish like aquarium salt. Its primary purpose is for aquarium cleanliness and clarity.
Will API ACCU- CLEAR™ water clarifier clear the cloudiness caused by bacterial blooms?
API ACCU-CLEAR water clarifier will help to clear the cloudiness caused by bacterial blooms, but does not address the underlying cause. Since the actual problem has not been resolved, the cloudiness will come back quickly unless the main cause of bacterial blooms is treated.
