The service was excellent
I placed my order at 10:00 in the morning and received immediate email confirmation that the order was received.
At 15:00 I received confirmation that the order was processed and packed and that the courier was contacted for collection. I even got the contact details of the courier, a tracking number and a link to track the parcel.
At 16:35 I received email that the package had been collected.
At 20:15 I received email that the package was in transit.
At 06:35 of the 4th day, I received email confirmation that the package was out for delivery
Package arrived around 09:00
At 09:15 I received email confirmation that the package was delivered.
At 11:45 I also received an email hoping that my order had arrived safely, which it had.
The product itself is a nice solid unit
The only possible downside is that the filter unit at the intake is too small. However, anyone using this size pump will use an external filter anyway, as I am doing. My other pump has a massive filter unit, almost the size of the pump itself, which I do not use.
The claimed flowrate with no head is 3500l/h.
I measured it at 80cm from the bottom of my pond to ground level and it was about 1500l/hr. There is no graph to confirm the flow rate at that head, but it does seem like a rather high loss at that height, given that the claimed head is 3m. However, this flowrate is similar to my other pump that cost R1000 more. So in my opinion this pump is definitely value for money.
I definitely recommend this supplier and this product.
